Anti-corruption Business Practices Survey Launched!
In June 2004 Global Compact principles (9 at the time) were completed with the 10th principle on anti-corruption. This addition signified an important step, considering the overwhelming negative impact of corruption on businesses around the world, regardless of the social or economic development or geographical positioning.

On January 17, 2011 a regular meeting of the Multi-stakeholder Advisory Council to develop a National Concept for CSR Strategy Development in Ukraine took place for the first time in the new year. The agenda of the meeting included discussion of the pre-final draft of the Concept for the Strategy and further steps to be taken by the Council, including finalization and Concept promotion. The draft document was presented by Mr. Rodion Kolyshko, Council’s Secretary. Mr. Kolyshko highlighted changes to the structure of the document as well as motivation for reducing its volume. The audience took active part in commenting draft’s content and offered to introduce changes to the sections “Urgency of Strategy Development and Implementation”, “Structure”, etc as well as to stick to the uniform terminology. Council members set January, 31 2011 as the deadline for finalization of the document. Among the further steps discussed- the final version of the National Concept for CSR Strategy Development will be presented along with the cover letter to the executive branch of power.
