First Collective Action of The GC Network in the framework of Go Green!

The United Nations in Ukraine would like to invite you to the collective action of the Global Compact Network in Ukraine - second bi-annual Clean Up weekend to be held at the Trukhaniv Island in Kyiv on July 6, 2008 11:00 to 14:00 in the framework of the Dnipro Day celebration.

We encourage all your employees, their families and friends who are tired to see heaps of rubbish in the green zone of our city to clean up the Trukhaniv Island and to collect the garbage off the banks of Matveevska Zatoka. Each participant will get a pair of rubber gloves and garbage bag. Free soft drinks will be provided as well as an entertainment program for the kids. All gathered garbage will be collected by Greenko-Kyiv for further sorting out at “Greenko-Center” and the recycling.

We would like to thank those who have joined us in the organization of this important initiative: Coca-Cola Beverages Ukraine, Greenko-Kyiv and Institute of Oil Transportation for their financial and in-kind contribution to the event.

We encourage all companies to provide their staff with the corporate T-shirts and thus to show all the participants and the media their corporate consciousness and unity.

Collectible Go Green! pins will be given to all participants as a small token and a sign of appreciation of their efforts.
