UNDP and State Committee for Entrepreneurship sign Memorandum of Understanding
Parties have signed the document in order to facilitate cooperation in the sphere of private sector and entrepreneurship development, raising the level of companies’ corporate social responsibility through joint initiatives aimed at strengthening the capacity of State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship, NGO’s, private sector representatives and other parties in this sphere of activity.
According to Konstyantyn Vashchenko, Head of State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship, the goal of the Memorandum is to facilitate joint activities of Parties in regards to fostering common interest and reaching agreement in achieving common goals.
Official signing of Memorandum will become the first steo towards fruitful bilateral cooperation.
According to Francis O’Donnell, Memorandum was created considering common will of State Committee of Ukraine for Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship and United Nations Development Programme in Ukraine to develop and strengthen partnership in introducing common goals and interests with the goal to improve overall social and economic development of Ukraine.
The parties will pursue cooperation in the existing frameworks, in particular, in the sphere of activities performed by the Blue Ribbon Analytical and Advisory Centre, established by UNDP and EC.
