Global Compact environment working group meeting

Kyiv, Ukraine The first 2010 Environment working group meeting of the Global Compact (GC) in Ukraine took place at the UN House.

On the agenda were:

• Welcome and presentation; expectations of the group
• Report of the 2009 group activity results  
• Election of the group Chairman
• Discussions about the future summit on climate change
• Discussion and planning for 2010

Olesya Zhulynska, the group Chairman, briefed the audience on the achievements of the group in 2009.
