First meeting of the Multi-stakeholder Advisory Council (MAC) on the development of the CSR National strategy in Ukraine.

The first meeting of the MAC took place in order to begin the development of a national concept for the CSR National strategy in Ukraine. It was held in the conference room of the Parliamentary Committee on Regulatory Policy and Entrepreneurship.
MAC coordinator, Ms Lyapina, chaired the meeting. Participants adopted the proposed regulations work and chose the Secretariat that includes four organizations: the UN Global Compact Network, the Centre for CSR Development, the Property and Law Institute and, finally, the Association of Quality. Rodion Kolishko was elected Secretary of the Council.

Ms. Lyapina has pointed out that the main purpose of the Advisory Council is not simply to write programs, but to create an effective and relevant concept to address the realities of Ukrainian business. This concept will be developed by relevant working groups and submitted to Parliamentary hearings this year.
