| What is your company’s involvement with the Community? |
Besides supplying consumers with the produce of high quality JSC «SK F Ukraine» is one of the biggest tax-payers in the city. JSC «SK F Ukraine» provides aid to a number of city and regional organizations. At 25th anniversary in 2006 the company purchased some technical and other equipment for the regional geriatrics center and Lutsk center for rehabilitation of children-invalids. Also kindergartens, schools, individuals, who require medical treatment, receive some help. JSC «SK F Ukraine» takes active part in the community life by helping various CSO s to improve city territory. One of the examples is a donation to the NGO «Center for Youth Development» in cleaning bed of the district river. |

| What is your company’s involvement with the environment? |
In order to establish control over its influence on the environment the company worked out, implemented and certified management system for the environment according to the requirements of ISO 14001. According to our ecological program all the employees took part in the training about ecological policies of the enterprise, new platform for industrial waste is built, technological environments with the first class of danger have been substituted, electric internal transportation was bought, special trays for avoiding spilling liquids were installed. Following the concept for sustainable development we conduct monitoring of energy consumption and try to reduce elimination of CO at 10 per cent. Sustainable development for us is a combination of successful business with saving resources for future generations. |

| What does your company do at workplace in the
frame of corporate social responsibility? |
The biggest asset of the factory is its employees – their knowledge, skills and experience. Management of the professional promotion is based on the planned system for employees’ professional growth. We have also worked out the process «Personnel development, education and training» While getting acquainted with new ways to do business and new technologies, groups of employees go through training at the best SKF factories abroad. We also have established procedure «Personnel Motivation» which involves acknowledgement of employees’ achievements and their moral and material motivation. We have been celebrating «family day» at the factory for three years already. Besides we have volleyball section, fitness group «Light body». Every employee has an opportunity to receive vacation package at a special rate, no-interest loan for buying housing, etc. |

| What is your company’s practice of business ethics? |
"Management of the personnel is carried out on the basis of Quality Policies of JSC «SKF Ukraine». In regard to employees this policy presupposes their compliance with the «Code of Conduct in SKF companies». This code also aimed at the assessment of performance and professional behavior of the employee, acknowledgement of his or her contribution and respective compensation, organization’s responsibility towards employees and society in general. That is why there are 4 distinct areas of the company responsibility: responsibility towards consumers; responsibility towards employees; responsibility towards shareholders; responsibility towards the society. In order to follow these requirements we have defined our main values: high ethics, perfection, openness, and team work. These ethical principles are described in the Principles of Conduct." |
