| What is your company’s involvement with the Community? |
«TNK-BP Ukraine» strives to have a positive impact on social life not only through its business activity but also through implementing programs of social investments and charity. Our company’s charitable programs aim to help children and youth, veterans and population in general. In 2005–2006, the Company participated in the development and implementation of the management model, and started realization of the big projects in CSR, among which are USAID project «Health of mother and child» and cooperation with International charitable foundation «Ukraine–3000» on the recovery program for children with affected central nervous system, called «Joy of childhood is free moving». The Company established target patronage of specialized boarding school for deaf children in Lugansk and participated in the reconstruction project of the stadium «Shakhtar» in Lysychansk in the framework of its charitable activities. |

| What is your company’s involvement with the environment? |
Management of «TNK-BP» considers the problems of industrial safety, employees’ health protection and ecology as the most important ones. «TNK-BP» constantly strives for reducing negative impact of industrial activity on the environment through reduction of industrial waste products and thrifty energy utilization. One of the main processing company’s assets, Lysychansky oil refinery, implements programs, directed at saving energy resources, and recycling. In December 2006 the factory received the certificate of correspondence to ecological management system ISO 14001. In February 2007 the company received certificate for diesel oil with the reduced (0.005%) sulfur component which is a great contribution to the improvement of ecological situation. |

frame of corporate social responsibility? |
"«TNK-BP Ukraine» invests in human resources on the regular basis. In the management sphere special attention is paid to professional and personal development of the employees, fair assessment and transparent remuneration system, encouraging initiatives, constructive and effective communication in the company and externally, compliance with Ukrainian labor legislation. The company takes part in the salary market analysis that serves as a basis for working out relevant compensation and social packages. The Company offers opportunities for education and development (education in western business-schools for managers, training programs and exams for international specifications ACCA, CMA, CFA, CAP, etc; search and development of HiPo specialists with high potential; individual development plans, etc)." |

«TNK-BP Ukraine» is governed by Code of business practice and Corporate standards in its activity: «Principles of economic activity», «External corporate relations», «Managing conflict of interests», «Business presents and hospitality», «Internal control and finances», «Protection of labor, industrial safety and environmental protection», etc. The company is acting on the basis of stainless reputation, respect to other cultures, human rights and dignity, anti-corruption, demanding such behavior from its partners. «TNK-BP Ukraine» strives for maximum company value increase on the long-term basis. For the practical implementation of this requirement the company follows the principle of transparency and adheres to high planning and control standards.
