| What is your company’s involvement with the Community? |
The final goal of JSC «Umanavtodor» is 100% Community satisfaction. In order to monitor perception of the company’s work by the community, employees conduct an annual survey. Local authorities assess the role of «Umanavtodor» in developing and improving the territory of the town (planting trees including) as very positive. Besides its direct involvement in planting greenery in the town of Uman, «Umanavtodor» donates plants to the educational establishments of the town and district for planting greenery. Also we have elaborated the model for provision of charitable help. We have defined organizations that require assistance in the first place. These are hospitals, senior homes, orphanages, kindergartens, secondary schools, charitable fund «Chornobyl Union», and higher educational establishments. |

| What is your company’s involvement with the environment? |
Unfortunately, JSC »Umanavtodor» impacts the environment not only in a positive way. Harmful emissions into the atmosphere take place in the process of production. In order to decrease factual emissions we have to work out new methods for modeling processes, elaborate new technologies, install new progressive filters. As a result of introducing new technologies the emissions have reduced at 8.5% annually from the allowed norm (originally we aimed at 5%). Simultaneously we managed to reduce water consumption. For enhancing the process of environment protection we have implemented the System for Environment Management in «Umanavtodor» (new version: the System for Ecological Management) which plays a significant role in this process. |

| What does your company do at workplace in the
frame of corporate social responsibility? |
Methods for personnel care in «Umanavtodor» are approved at the staff assembly and are stated in the Collective agreement. Employees’ satisfaction is defined in the survey, at the staff assembly and also in direct communication. The Company coordinates with the employees the goals for their improvement, necessity to obtain new skills and training plans on the basis of the proposals in the applications, constant communication of leaders with personnel, needs for changes in technology, organization, etc. Staff motivation is one of the goals for our management, as stated in the Policies in Management. Having clear idea about the fair compensation system and satisfaction of their basic needs, workers receive big incentive for productive work. |

| What is your company’s practice of business ethics? |
"At JSC »Umanavtodor« the management style is based on the subordinates’ trust. Employees are considered to be not passive executers of instructions, instead they are viewed as creative force, which influences actively company’s work. Leaders promote BUSSINES ETHICS among personnel through: Demonstration of their accessibility in connection with all kinds of appeals; Help and support to the employees in achieving their plans and goals; E ncouragement of employees to take part in the activities raising their professional level. These approaches are valid for our staff members and also seasonal workers, involved in construction. General psychological climate among staff members demonstrates that their opinion is taken into account while defining the strategy for the company development." |
