What is your company’s involvement with the Community? "Cooperation with: Kyiv cancer clinic for children-purchasing medical equipment; Children cardiologic center-providing it with soap, napkins, shoes that cannot be used by our guests, but are good enough for further usage; Center «People who live with HIV» – quarterly organization of events for the children of the Center (circus, New Year celebration, etc); Providing conference rooms at special rate for charity activities; C ollecting money for the project Save the Children – corporate project (together with other hotels of the network), our guests are contributors to this project. C ooperation with Guests in collecting clothes and toys for vulnerable groups of the society. Financial and material help (clothes) to the invalids of the center «Fenix»."
What is your company’s involvement with the environment? "We are implementing the system of energy recuperation; We purchased toilets with double flush that will be installed in public restrooms; Efficient usage of lightning depending on number of guests in the hotel; The garbage is utilized in 2 ways (paper and «the rest»). We have the system for towels exchange; We are planning to cooperate with Kyiv organization «Zelenbud» to plant tress in one of the city districts."
What does your company do at workplace in the frame of corporate social responsibility? Every employee of the hotel goes through corporate training «Responsible Business» that exists within the network of our hotels. The purpose of the training is to introduce the program for hotel staff and its guests’ protection, social and ethical aspects, reduce of negative influence of the hotel’s activity on the environment. Also there exist such corporate trainings as (Yes, I can, providing first medical aid), every employee has an opportunity to attend English courses at the employer’s expense. With 2 year experience of working in the hotel our employees have a chance to receive job in the world network of Radisson SAS/ Park IN with the same position (since ourhotel is only 1.5 years old, this program will be in act starting fall 2007). Every month we reward best employee with the bonus. Some employees receive training at other hotels abroad. All employees receive free food.
What is your company’s practice of business ethics? Our company does not use forced labor and tries to fight such phenomenon. Extra hours are paid additionally Employees have equal opportunities disregarding their religion, sex or nationality. Qualitative services, in case of client’s dissatisfaction and employee’s mistake there exists the program 100% Guest Satisfaction. The company fights corruption, including bribery. The company cooperates with state bodies, funds and provides of acute information.
