This booklet provides Global Compact participants with inspiration and ideas on how to communicate progress in implementing the ten principles. It is the result of an ongoing dialogue between the Global Compact Office and many of its participating companies. In particular, it reflects experiences and perspectives shared by practitioners and users of Communications on Progress during a two-day workshop held in March 2006 in Geneva. By sharing these experiences and perspectives, more participants will communicate progress and improve the quality of their COP. This is not a new guideline for producing a Communication on Progress; the official guidelines remain unchanged. Rather, this booklet should be seen as an addition to the tools and examples already available on the Global Compact website.
